DESCRIPTION

BUSS undertook the repair and re-sealing of the external facade of the Courtyard on behalf of Jones Lang LaSalle on the Department of Health building.

The external works were performed on four facades using certified swing stages designed exclusively for this project. All BUSS staff were certified and qualified to use the bespoke access equipment. The use of swing stage access equipment provided a significant risk reduction with staff able to perform tasks on a safe stable platform. The use of the swing stage resulted in a superior, quality finish.

BUSS performed sympathetic repairs and remediation of the external cladding to ensure improvement in the appearance of the structure without causing damage through the use of aggressive products or equipment.

BUSS replaced both internal and external glazing seals to weatherproof each facade to significantly increase the lifespan of the structure and resolve the water ingress issues present on site.
