Christmas Island Phosphate Mine (CIRP)

BUSS conducted a technical concrete condition survey and report of the existing mine infrastructure at CIRP to evaluate the extent and causes of deterioration and provide a repair strategy.
The mine is based on Christmas Island (2,000 kilometres North West of Broome) and is the leading producer of phosphate rock throughout the South East Asian region. The mine has been operational for over 100 years with key areas of infrastructure requiring investigation.
A detailed report inclusive of high-quality photographic evidence and an extensive Bill of Repairs was submitted promptly, satisfying budget and planning requirements.
