Bayswater Train Station
Expansion Joint Sealing And Concrete Repair
Civcon WA

Description
Bayswater Train Station, servicing the Midland Line, is operated by Transperth who provide transport services to the Perth Metro Area. The Public Transports Authority’s (PTA) initiative to develop and implement a Station Access Strategy for this train station involved changes that would improve access to the station for bus users, vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. In 2018, BUSS was awarded the contact to complete the remediation works on the pedestrian underpass. The works included concrete repairs to effected areas and expansion joint sealing on the newly constructed channel. Access to the underpass was a challenge due to the awkward angles and limited space.
