Description

In April 2020 Advanteering Civil Engineers awarded BUSS the contract to complete specific maintenance to three pedestrian bridges that are located over Leach Highway. The scope of work included the following:

  • Footbridge 9006 at Rossmoyne High School – concrete repairs at bridge spans and concrete bridge deck, surface preparation and corrosion treatment/coatings to bridge deck, balustrades and handrails and realign and join handrail at abutment 2 on west side.
  • Footbridge 9026 at Wilson Primary School – expansion joint repairs, installation of drainage holes at all piers, concrete repairs to bridge deck, waterproofing to concrete deck, installation of aluminium cover plate at north abutment, corrosion treatment/coatings to bridge deck and balustrades and handrails.
  • Footbridge 9027 at Modillion Ave – expansion joint repairs, installation of drainage holes at all piers, concrete repairs to bridge deck, waterproofing to concrete deck, installation of aluminium cover plate at south abutment, corrosion treatment/coatings to bridge deck and balustrades and handrails.
