The Atlas Building
Concrete Repair
DB Commercial & Industrial

Description
The historic Atlas Building, home to the Perth Museum, is a 4-storey structure located on The Esplanade and overlooking the beautiful Swan River. BUSS was engaged by DB Commercial & Industrial to complete remediation works to the concrete plant room structure located on the roof of the building. All repair areas were identified, the damaged concrete broken out, concrete repairs completed and damaged reinforcing steel bars treated for further reinforcement. A new waterproofing membrane system was installed to prevent future water penetration, followed by rectification of the handrails and the addition of new bollards and blustrades.
