Hale School
Shower Repairs
Hale School

Description
Founded in 1858, Hale School is the oldest private boys’ school in Western Australia; the school is a day school and a boarding school.
The shower area of the boarding school presented with multiple issues including failed grout, wall sealant, and floor joints. BUSS was engaged to complete the repairs and preventative maintenance to the boarding school showers/shower cubicles.
The works included the removal of the old/failed existing grout from the walls and floors and the supply and
application of an epoxy grout to the area, the removal and installation of silicone sealant to the wall to wall joints and the wall to floor joints, followed by the application of a two-coat penetrating sealant to the grouted area.
Additionally, all taps and shower hardware were inspected and serviced/replaced as necessary.
