Balcony Repairs, Tiling, and Waterproofing
The Montreux Apartments Complex, centrally located at 6 Parker Street in South Perth, is an executive apartment complex which boasts incredible views of the Perth skyline.
In 2018, the residential penthouse at the complex was experiencing water ingress issues to both the upper and lower balconies. Stable Commercial, acting on behalf of the owner, engaged the services of Buss to complete the necessary repairs and protect against further water
Buss’ work scope included the removal of the balustrades and installation of edge protection, removal of the tiling and screed via a waste chute and surface preparation of the concrete slab by grinding, prior to the installation of screed to fall. A new waterproofing membrane system was
then installed, followed by reinstatement of tiling, drains and balustrades.

POINTS OF INTEREST:
- Upper balcony approximately 54m2 and lower balcony approximately 36m2
- Minimal disturbance to residents who were able to remain in properties while works being completed
- Project successfully completed on December 22 so that residents could enjoy their restored balcony
over the holidays.
