St Georges Close
Concrete Repair and Waterproofing
Owners of 30 Preston Street, Como, WA
Nestled on the leafy Preston Street in the well-established suburb of Como, sits St Georges Close apartment complex. The owners of St Georges Close contracted BUSS to complete concrete repairs, joint sealing and installation of a non-slip trafficable waterproofing member to the external concrete steps, landings, balustrade bases and walkways of the complex.
Upon work commencement BUSS removed the existing coatings, broke out the damaged and spalling concrete, and removed the existing control joint sealant; the rusted metal was stripped back and cleaned prior to being treated with a zinc rich primer for added protection. Once the concrete repairs and new control joint sealant works were completed, a new non-slip trafficable waterproofing membrane was installed to the surfaces.
